Arrive at Calicut International Airport. On arrival, you will be met &assisted by our representative. Thereafter transfer to Vythiri at Wayanad. The drive is picturesque through the Western Ghats, escaping from the sultry climate below to a perfect, cool and temperate climate. Wayanad is rich in coffee and spice plantations and steeped in history and traditions which historians claim date as far back as 10 centuries before Christ. They refer to the Edakkal Caves as evidence where ancient carvings have been traced to a highly civilized people from the pre-historic stone ages.. On arrival at the resort check in for 02 nights for overnight stay. Later spend the day enjoying a leisurely walk in the resort and explore the various activities. After breakfast take the village life experience tour. In this guided tour we visit a tribal House and Interact with tribal , visit a paddy Field, pottery Making, basket Weaving, visit the Jain temple ruins. Afterwards return to your resort. Explore the activities of yoga, fitness centre, archery, stream walk and bicycle to nearby places. At night stay at resort in Wayanad. Kanchipuram is also famous for its hand woven silk fabrics. Visit the Kailashanatha Temple which was built in the 7th Century and Kamakshi Amman Temple. Later visit a Silk handloom unit to see how a beautiful 5 Metre Silk robs / sarees are made. Take an early morning walk in the resort. After breakfast check out from the resort and transfer to Cheruthuruthy. Enroute visit to Edakkal Caves (ancient carvings of pre-historic stone ages) and Pookode Lake. On arrival at Cheruthuruthy, check in at the river resort. At night stay in Cheruthuruthy.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kerala Kalamandalam, the deemed university for culture & art. You participate in the “Day with the masters” programme which depicts & familiarise with different cultural and art forms of Kerala. Here you attend audio visual presentations, visit to different class rooms and interact with teachers & students practicing dance forms, musical instruments, mural painting presentation, and visit to the art gallery are some of them. Afternoon depart by road to Munnar. On arrival at Munnar, check in at the resort. Rest of the day you are free at leisure. At night stay at resort in Munnar.

After breakfast check out and depart by road to Vandanmedu -the land of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It houses the famous wildlife sanctuary Periyar” in South India and has also been declared as a Tiger Reserve. On arrival, check-in to your hotel for 01 night. Afternoon go for a short trek in to the Spice Plantations surrounding the resort. The path will take guests past cardamom bushes and pepper vines, the air rich with the scents of clove and cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, past trees abundant in season with mango and banana and further on branches bearing oranges, mangostene, jackfruit, rambuttan, butter fruit, papaya and rose apple. Guest will have the opportunity to view at close quarters the planting and plucking of the crop. The walk is also an opportunity spot a fascinating range of butterflies. A naturalist will accompany the tour introducing guests to botanical terms for the flora and fauna endemic to the area. At night stay at the resort in Vandanmedu.

After breakfast, proceed for a jeep safari to Kailasam estate. In this tour you visit the plantation owner’s bungalow where the owner himself will greet you. You will also be taken on a tour of the cardamom factory where you will get to view how cardamom is processed and packed. Afterwards the jeep will take you through the cardamom bushes and breathe taking ride up the rocky hill at Kailasam estate where you have a scenic view of the mountain and the valley below. Afternoon depart to Thekkady where you take a boat safari on Periyar Lake which encircles the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. If you are lucky see wild elephants, wild boar, deer, monkeys and migratory birds. In the evening enjoy the Kerala Traditonal martial art show “Kalaripayattu”, Later return to resort in Vandanmedu for overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the resort and transfer by road to Kumarakom. At noon on arrival at Kumarakom, check in at the resort. Evening enjoy a sunset cruise by motor boat on the backwaters of Kumarakom. At night stay at resort in Kumararkom.

After breakfast at the resort, your vehicle will take you for a Village Life Experience tour. This is a Responsible Tourism initiative aimed at community participation and by taking this tour you are contributing to the lively hood of local community. In this tour you experience the day to day life of people, their day to day occupation such as farming, rope making, coconut leaf weaving, handicraft making, canoe ride in narrow canals, rickshaw ride, visit to nearby temple are some of them. At noon, check-out from your hotel and transfer to Alleppey to join your privately crewed houseboat for a day cruise in the backwaters. Lunch will be served shortly after arrival. Your backwater cruise takes you through some of Kerala’s most scenic areas where you will see local people living their lives and the only means of transport is by boat. The cruise usually lasts from mid-afternoon until dusk. Your houseboat will then moor at Alleppey where your vehicle will transfer to beach resort at Mararikulam. Mararikulam / Marari is a beach destination with pristine sand beaches, swinging coconut palms and plenty of solitude. Experience the local aroma in the environment. After breakfast in the morning you are free to explore the resort, the beach and the nearby fishing village on your own. Afternoon depart by road to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, check in to your hotel for 1 nights stay. Cochin: The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15thcentury. Afternoon, join your spot guide at the for a tour of Mattanchery & Fort Cochin, covering the Dutch Palace which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and was presented to the Raja of Cochin as a gesture of goodwill. The Jewish Synagogue was originally constructed in 1568, but was destroyed by Portuguese in 1662.This was rebuilt two years later when the Dutch took over Cochin. Chinese fishing nets, The St. Francis Church, said to be India's oldest European-built church was constructed in 1503. Having died in Cochin in 1524, Vasco Da Gama was buried here for 14 years before his remains were taken to Lisbon. After the tour of Fort Cochin and Mattanchery, proceed to the cultural centre. As soon you arrive watch the makeup of the Kathakali artist with painting his face using natural colours followed by witnessing a sequence of Kerala's traditional & colourful dance forms.
